even more reason to do the new wall and door fame first and then the decoration is done last, but as you're replacing the frame and removing the tiles it could be a lucky opportunity to choose a door first then build the new frame to suit the door, then do the floors and then you'll probably have to resize the height of the doors to suit the precise new floor height and NB include the new fly screen door from the beginning so that the new frame suits both doors...best of luck but i have to say that the existing frame and gorgeous vintage glass with a simple plain new door with security screen and dark painted tile floors continued from outside to in would be my first choice

I think the 6 pane one will suit the house. We have 4 pane ones as bifolds for our studio which was converted from our garage. (first pic) I had to google 'hopscotch' windows. If similar to the ones below, I think they will suit your weatherboard. Which colour will you be painting your house?

I just looked on the Dulux charts , and colours like Strong Strawberry or Rusted Crimson are earthy but have that reddish/burgundy vibe , and would blend in but still brighten the entrance . The other option would be a real bright red to really lift the space and add the Wow , although as it seems it isn't seen from the street , it probably won't schieve much , so more toned down earthy burgundy reds may be the go .

While I love all the doors above , I doubt I'd do any of them in your house , and in fact I'd step back a bit , and design a plan for the whole section . You have an older style wrought iron balistrade and step rails , older style plants , the bricks are nice and could be of almost any era , but even the windows and blinds show their age and style . A modern black door would be a mistake there IMO , as would a wooden one with trendy vertical slots , UNLESS you are going to add a dark borderless glass balistrade and stair sides , new gardens , new blinds , new stair treatment , etc . So modern up everything , or just do a really nice cedar door and sidelight , with squarish glass , not slim trendy -- in other words , keep it 80ish and spend $5k , or spend $20k plus and hope people think it is this century . And just an observation -- large pots I generally like , but while those 2 are a good step , they need to have different plants( a variety of heights and coloured leaves , grasses , cactuses , etc ) , or my preference would be new bright glazed pots about that size , in a sunny colour like red or yellow -- the terracota and bland plants don't quite do it for me .
