Hi, Need some help for birght feature wall sharing Living room and Media.I have attached Plan and indicative pic. something in the lines bit different.
Look at cladding your wall rather than just painting it. Metaline has some beautiful colours and could create this red wall look, but perhaps a better colour choice for you. I like the idea of a band of mirror wrapping it on all four sides, at some height of your liking. It would almost help dissolve the column and make the mirrored section disappear. If all that sounds scary, paint wide horizontal bands around it on all four sides, one stripe in a metallic finish paint, perhaps in a bronze etc teamed with a deep eggplant purple like one called double bass by dulux.
No sorry, with your images it should be easy to picture this, just a horizontal band all around the column wall. You could draw it out and then use sample pots to colour it to see how it ends up. The mirror would reflect the room beyond so I think it would almost disappear.
Hi, I totally agree with mldesign0401's excellent suggestion. You have probably dealt with this already but, if not, let me know. I have some photos of a refurb we did in which we used a lot of mirror to pretty stunning effect. It would become almost invisible while making the room feel expansive - and it would also look very slick and modern in that room - definitely a winner.
