We are not allowed to have garages in our precinct ..if you have back access (and some people do) you can have a garage around the back..no walled fronts either ..ours was walled before the ruling so can stay..I really like having my wall. Gates have to open material..not solid

Might be a bit busy with that many finishes (white render, colorbond, stone + timber screen) and your design looks very clean and simple. I do love the look of this timber style so interested to see what answers you get.

Historically the kitchen took a back seat in regards to the impact it once had on a home, often a hidden workstation with its soul purpose to feed the hungry mouths that inhabit the spaces around it. Well.... Not anymore! Todays modern kitchen really is the beating heart of the home, combining high level functionality with stunning architectural design that can really define the spirit of a home. Our latest Newcastle project turned a once sad & deprived kitchen space into a modern kitchen dream, relocating its position & orientation within the home allowing for the interaction of multiples living spaces to be achieved. The organic pallet involved timber & stone features, with a slate Axolotl veneer used on the kitchen's joinery. Some wall alterations provided enough space for a Butlers Pantry to be incorporated into the design, hidden behind a smoke glazed door. the Butlers Pantry housed additional storage, sink, fridge & food preparation area that was ideal for family use. With the installation of bifold & huge stacker doors, we were able introduce plenty of natural light that streamed in from the setting sun. All in all another memorable project with a great result!

Depends a little bit on the style of your house , but my first reaction is the same as bigreader -- no , and almost certainly no , no , no , no , not 4 rooms in one house . Some of the schists look alright , the 80's style might suit an 80's or even 50's minimalist American house . There are some fairly cool 'wavy' panels that are available these days ; even some feature walls that look like timber ends sticking out of a wall ; wallpaper works in some places ; but one wall of brighter paint is the most obvious 'feature wall' . Faux Stone , or that ship-lap timber , or diagonal timber are about as exciting as yellowy beige or mission brown .
