Yes, I've heard "chalk" paint is easy to use. Would this need a top coat to protect Brandi? Alternatively, you could start by coating the table top with a limewash varnish. You can build up the coats to achieve the look you like. What is the colour of the wood? Chairs will be more fiddly to paint, so perhaps start with just the table. There's also trend of "paint-dipped" legs you could do for table or chairs, if you like this look. A way to bring in colour without doing a whole piece. If you'd like to give the whole chairs a face lift, here's some inspiration. The table in this image appears to have limewash (aside from the top) and paired with pastel chairs. You could do just table top and leave legs as is. Then do chairs in various colours...

You could go wider but it depends on what type of dining furniture would want to use and how many you will be catering for. Bench seating tucks underneath and when it is being used you aren't so worried about the other space. You could always turn it around the other way [ perpendicular to the house] so the width is less of an issue as 10 metres is a decent length deck. I think even an extra 30cm would make a difference and not doing it may cost more in regret than the materials. You could go wider in the dining area only but it is a bit hard to judge without seeing the space. Find some furniture you like online and map out a plan for yourself - use newspaper for life size modelling. Good luck

Hi Jeanine, Living room looks stunning, just a few inspiration photos for you, you could free up a little more space and have a table that fits along your balcony rail which looks so very stylish, your friends will love eating and admiring the view, add some fab stools, you could even add a small seati, ng area, lots of greenery, I love lightweight white pots, would look gorgeous as an extension to you beautiful room, an outdoor rug could look great also.

I think a small round table is a good use of the space. I have a feeling the kitchen/meals could start to feel cramped very quickly. A table with 120cm diameter will seat 4 and 5 at a squeeze. Example table Regarding bar stools, I think you need to find something that slides under the bench to keep the space as open as possible. Finding a seat at 70cm might be a tough thing. Good luck
