Hi 1kysaboy, we recommend laying timber tiles in either 1:3 or 1:4 ratio. This is to avoid the visibility of bowing as much as possible. Bowing is an inherent characteristic of all tiles, but may look more obvious with timber tiles as they are so long and thin. Laying them in a 1:2 ratio is not recommended as this format would have the lowest point of the bow adjacent to the highest point of the bow, making it more obvious to the eye.
