These are images from Pinterest... fair to say don't design around the green carpet but if it's not changeable then working with it is a must.. neutral colours for main items (couch, rugs etc...). You can see that orange is a nice contrast colour and keeping it more muted then bright should keep it relaxed. The rust velvet is lovely. But if your personality lends to something more adventurous you could keep the bold colours rolling as you see with pink. Happy decorating

some of these old fittings had a thick pin that was held in place by the weight of the chair...try removing the screws holding the wheel in the bracket and then gently twisting and pulling the bracket (that nice strong man might be persuaded to help) or check out the range of "height risers" on line to see if one of them might be able to discreetly fit around the wheels or have a chat to an upholsterer or drape a gorgeous shawl etc over the chair and ignore the wheels...faced with a similar conflict about my lovely mid century chairs i discovered that the most cost effective upcycle is the drape!

Hi Lisa, if you’re not able to paint the wicker, I would redo the lounge cover - beige is a really hard colour to match and it’s muted compared to the fresher colour of wicker - basically one colour looks “clean” the wicker, and one colour looks “dirty” the lounge fabric, I don’t mean it is dirty, I mean the tone of the fabric if that makes sense. A light green-grey colour fabric would work really well in this space, a fabric store should be able to help with undertones. Either way in regards to the cushions, I would go for pink and green. You want to pull the colours out of the artwork behind the lounge so that the space ties together - this would also help tie in with the burgundy kick board in the kitchen. I would use a few pink velvet cushions on the main sofas, that way you’re relating the texture of the green velvet chairs and moving the art workwork into the space. I would also use some green cushions so that the green chairs are more integrated. If you can find a pink and green patterned cushion or fabric, you are on a winner! 😊 I’m not sure what your budget is, but I’ve Had a quick look and for pattern cushions, these would be great and go really well with a softer pink velvet cushion. I know there would be softer pattern options out there if you prefer that as well. I hope this helps and I’m sure whatever you decide to do will look great! You’ve got good bones here and a lovely mix of textures :)

paint the fence in dulux monument. pressure wash the **out of those bricks. They have nice character, I would leave them. But you could take out about 60cm of brick from the fence line and add a nice fast growing hedge like a murraya or verbernum. OR some white pebbles or light wood chips and plant some yukkas and cordylines. Get rid of the ladder lol But in a malibu wood gate.
