Just paint the existing wall/s perhaps? Otherwise your just consuming more products for no real gain.

Those are actually the same color. There is enough light coming through the windows. I feel like it will make my living room and dining area elegant. The blinds stay but it lacks style. Thank you so much!

I like the blue touches already in the room, which reflect the brickwork. Agree with lots of creams/ neutrals, just adding some blue in cushions, artwork. Maybe a bluish/cream rug, with a subtle pattern, not a solid color. Also I think the lights are a little lost. The high ceilings could take some quite large shades, maybe drums. And I agree that the central column could be painted to become the focal point as stated. Either white or quite a dark grey/ blue, ( it might darken up things too much, but it's only paint, can be changed). It might be sinful but I think I would replace it with plaster, then paint it. Finally maybe a dash of 60s burnt orange or mustard if you want to want to keep the retro theme.

Jules Have a full height closet on the wall where you presently have your desk - built in to that could be a drop down table top/study surface, as well as lots of storage space and shelving. This would eliminate the need for 2 tables in the small space It will also leave space for an occasional chair or two Use folding dining chairs for dining! Multi- purpose furniture is great in a small space! Add storage under the lounge seating - either lift up bins or drawers under the banquette. If the bathroom doorway led to the bedroom - to create an en suite- the occupant would have more privacy Also, hinge the bedroom door so it swings to the wall to give more walk space Remember that bar fridges are OK- using one will give more bench space in the kitchen Another thought to consider is to make the storage in the lounge area full height - the TV can be stored behind doors, thus making the space more open. This will give the illusion of spaciousness You have a good basic idea - hope these thoughts will help you expand your designing skills
