Any advice on suppliers and diy tips on glass block wall and building a sliding door and brick wall to make an outdoor room into an indoor room? Also recommended easy to clean and durable tiles for both indoor & outdoor use. Thanks
In most cases you'll need council approval to enclose it. You're changing the use of the space to something different so it must follow all building & council codes.
I have a courtyard that I had a quote from Stratco to enclose into a room. They were going to use wall panels with windows and a sliding door. I ditched the project when I realised the costs were enormous as I'd have to excavate and repour the concrete and move some plumbing as well as look at heating/cooling options if I wanted to use it all year round.
