Mirror is not just for watching yourself brush your teeth. Also for makeup and hair. One 650 mirror is too small for 1500 vanity

It all depends on whether tap and spout are attached,  how far spout extends over basin, whether basin is flat bottomed or not, whether left handed or not and ease of access to tap.  All these factors need to be sorted out first.  I'd work out how easy it is to use the taps you've selected.  Side is better for splash in some instances.  And if you do off centre are they both going to be on right/left or are they going to be mirrored.
