What about snow in the Ceasarstone for other benches. I can't afford the nuvo however have come across porcelain maximum. Have a look in here for pics. It looks identical to marble and apparently is cheaper than Ceasarstone. I'm struggling to find anyone that has used this though for feedback. I did speak to a distributor here in Sydney and he says it's easier to clean and is heat resistant. Waiting on pricing from our stone person and if he's comfortable to cut it etc.

Okay, change of advice. Contact the builder, explain that the levels he build to are incorrect and ask him to rectify it. It is worth a go. Don't go anywhere near the Council, just yet. You can check the levels on plans held by Council. If this fails then landscape the lot yourself. Make sure that the whole frontage of your house is landscaped really nicely. Delineate the area between the driveway and the edge of your timber step with a piece timber. Plant a few Grevilleas and underplant with a few spreading plants such as Dichondra, a native violet type plant that grows densely. (Check Dichondra out on Google images and see how dense and hassle free it is.) This bed will indicate that the entryway is from the footpath, to the timber stairs I suggest that you make a moveable ramp from the concrete path up to the level of your step, or even three small stairs built in such a way that they can be removed later, if necessary. Another good suggestion was stepping stones that take in the rise in level. Then you should plant out the whole frontage with Grevillias and bottle brush shrubs, underplanted with Dichondra. You can buy big packs of the seed at the large wholesale Hardware chains. Plants of Dichondra are cheap and they multiply quickly, especially if you have prepared the soil with some compost and raked it smoothly. A good interim measure suggested by Timandra Design & Landscaping is to place a piece of fake grass over a newly built-up area leading to your steps. If you do a good job, I do not think that Council will make a fuss. Have as your motto "Give it a go!"

love them but only in small numbers, kitchen family areas as features, recessed else where. Wonderful to use when you don't have access to ceilings.

Gloss will show finger marks more, but is brighter more modern crisp.
