The ability to cut a door to fit depends on the style of door. You couldn't cut a frame and panel door, for example, because you'd lose part of the frame. So that style would have to be custom made.

Thanks for the link Gem Fox Furniture. That's a help. We're definitely avoiding panel doors for that reason - I have seen them used before & it doesn't look good at all. That's why we need just plain doors which are hard to find!
No worries. A cheap veneered door might work as well. But, because they're usually hollow, you'd need to put a new edge on where you cut the corner off (if that makes sense). It would be pretty simple for a joiner to do.
