Would you use white grout or black grout on white gloss wall tiles?
Comments (3)Personal preference - they both look great! But the black grout is more of a statement (which i love!)...See MoreBlack on black vanity a good idea?
Comments (17)1. If you are having white tiles on the wall, the same as floor (my preference) then the white bench top will look great. The kick board should be white to match white tiles and the bench will look like it is floating. 2. If you are having 'light' colours, and white basins, then the white bench top. 3. If you go with black benchtop with 'light colour', then I think you need to look at a black basin and keep the kick board black....See MoreTo paint or not to paint a brick wall
Comments (5)Too much of a feature becomes a distraction. 70's / 80's brick interior houses were great then but are clearly dated now. One feature wall with the other walls in smooth plaster can still work, provided you address the feature wall as such, by not cluttering it with stuff. Try keeping the furnishing minimal and selected feature wall type dressing. hopefully this way you feature wall will look stylish. Hope this helps. Comments (15)Dont rely on google images, they are heavily edited and inaccurate, definately order swatches for accurate comparison. Below is a photo of Dulux Elements powder coating swatches which I have in my office - in the photo you can see (and from my own perspective of this colour) up close Surfmist is definately not 'white' but search the images on the web and yes it looks white (FYI first colour is 'Basalt', second colour 'Surfmist', third colour 'Black' and fourth colour 'Monument') Below also is one of my company's recent projects, chairs in Surfmist and tables in Monument, but looking at the image you'd swear it was 'white and black'. Before you decide Id suggest getting the actual powder coat swatches from Dulux which you can order via their website and then you can compare them and decide. Note: Colorbond Surfmist / Monument and Dulux are the same tone. Good luck!...See MoreUser
