White or grey/black grout?
Comments (16)There are heaps of lines, lines, lines already "featured" in this area! The overhead cabinets, shutter, drawers, front of breakfast bar cabinetry, sandstone wall ... By going black grout - you will be drawing attention to and emphasizing the overload of lines ... By going black grout, you may have to deal with the black and white giving you cross-eyes while cooking! So - obviously - I'm cheering for the "go white" team!...See MoreWhite with a hint of warm grey?
Comments (0)Can anyone recommend a few colours that could be described as "white with a hint of warm grey / greige " ...it's for a large open plan room with lots of windows on the East and South, white kitchen, silver splashback, white caesarstone benchtops with grey speckles, greyish white floor tiles, timber dining table. It's a temporary measure ahead of a full renovation so I just want something inoffensive. Thanks....See MoreHerringbone Kitchen Backsplash - White or Grey Grout?

Comments (2)Hi Em, no you are not overthinking it, it is important to pick a white that does not clash with your tops, or kitchen face colour. You can't change the colour of granites but you can pick a colour to suit your Granite (stone), which is why we like to recommend that our clients should always choose their stone (and cabinet colours) first and then choose their wall paint colour after the kitchen is installed. In addition to your floor throwing off colour, also effecting wall colour in the room is the type of Lighting which have a strong influence (white light or warm light) where these too are other good reasons to pick your wall colour last after the kitchen installation where you can best see that paint colour within your space and not someone else's warehouse or showroom. Hope this is of some help, regards. Malcolm...See MoreLorraine White
