My lovely clients at Randwick wanted to maximise the space under the stairs. Originally it was an egg yoke-coloured kitchenette, but as they had a full kitchen only at the top of the stairs, they felt this was a wasted opportunity. So, as they have school-aged children, I suggested we change it into a study area that could be used by the whole family. The advantage is that because the computer is in an open area, the parents are easily able to ensure cyber safety!

So, we added bookshelves along the top and filing cabinets at the sides.
