Moral dilemma
Comments (14)Yep, the aluminium frame and doors are his work. Powder coating done by a local company of his choice. After the frame was assembled and delivered our builder installed it with the reveals. Several weeks later the doors arrived (apparently there was a problem at the powder coaters) we then started the process of several alterations, each time they were re fitted there was a new mark or dint or scratch. After the quote was accepted I asked him to come out and check ours and the builders measurements, he did. I really can't answer why they needed so many nips and tucks... As of today I've managed to contact him and voice my concerns. He was professional and polite! Hopefully the outcome will be 2 new doors...See MoreInternal door Handles for Modern House - Dilemma
Comments (5)They are all beautiful designs and materials; however, I would always need to test how a handle feels in my hand as it will get a lot of use and for a period of years. Personally, I prefer a more ergonomic handle, one that is rounded and feels smoother in my hand when operating. Comments (8)Hi, suggestions - you could add panelling to make then look like french/ hamptons style mirror. you could install some ikea curtains and use as a back drop (block colour at back, sheer at front , must be very long.) . You could install barn style hinged doors. You could make it open shelving. You could remove altogether. You could add a nice wallpaper print to the doors, such as hamptons style blue and white or gold geometric and white. and match these colours to your cushions. I would only wall paper opposite wall if you keep the mirror. add a nice tall lamp to make the room bright and inviting and a throw on the couch. replace wall art. maybe paint the wall agreeable grey, reverve pewter or white. goodluck :-)...See MoreUser
