Hi Alisdair! If you're keeping the brick and roof as are then I'd pick a colour from the brick. If my monitor is right, then I think I see a kind of purply-brown or Sydney 'liver' brick in the darker bricks. Are you brave enough for a bit of aubergine on the fascia and window frames to pick up on that? I'd stick with a pale pale tan under the eaves, taken from the brick colour, to better bounce light around. Also, your front door is pretty recessed and could probably do with a pick me up. If you're game, bright green. If that's too far, then the pale tan out of the bricks. Good luck!

I'd use either Pale Eucalypt or Paperbark, both work with Woodland Grey and both will work on your home and reflect the landscape that it sits in.

In an older home like yours, which is possibly a post-war home with some art-deco influences and a 1980's extension to the rear a contrasting gutter and fascia is the way to go. When these elements are contrasted it visually slims down the width of the fascia and gutter. The same colour for both does the reverse and makes it seem larger and heavier. With your terracotta roof tiles and red brick I would go with the an olive green for the gutters to counterbalance the orangeness of the other elements and co-ordinate with the front blinds. I’d bring the focus to your front door with some brights colour. Do a med to dark grey on roof and garage, pick tones from your bricks. Windows and timber to a pale cream, pink based.
