Has anyone used the colour BEIGE ROYAL ?
Comments (1)Hi Italiangall001, You're right, external colours on large walls do appear a shade or two lighter. A colour that's slightly darker on the same leaf of the dulux fandeck is 'Linseed' or even 'barnfloor'. They're also a little more contemporary. You could then offset the trim with beige royal half. You can see the way externals can be modernised in some of these before and after shots. Good luck. Richard@themakeovergroup...See MoreDulux Tranquil Retreat quarter strength 1/4. Who's used it ?
Comments (30)Hi Italian girl, with your natural white walls what colour did you end up doing your ceiling and skirting? Also is the natural white throwing any yellow at all. I also have an open plan downstairs with a grey concrete floor tile. We are using malay grey on our fireplace and am struggling with choosing the right white for the walls. Was thinking of going with Snowy Mountains but might try natural white after seeing yours....See MoreAnyone used Dulux 'white box' on exterior or doors?
Comments (9)I hope these help, it’s been a few years and this 30 year old basic beach house is hardy plank not weatherboard so we could have gone neutral to hide that but I wanted to something more fun. We are 400m from the beach overlooking the bay and valley and I like that it’s fresh and different without trying to hard. We invested a lot refurbishing, new mill board deck, complete interiors and so on....See MoreHas anyone used Axolotl products?
Comments (7)Hi Shantell, an interior designer friend in Sydney does use Axolotyl especially for difficult spaces when sprayed metal is required and also on statues. There is a company here in Adelaide I suggested to a client to spray her front door to look like metal, which she loved. I think the name was Adelaide Metal Finishes (I'll try to find it) as they are quite experimental and love a challenge. The other company I love to use where I can is That Metal Company, based in Bowral NSW (www.thatmetalcompany.com.au). They are the exclusive distributors of over 130 speciality metal laminates - 100% metal but very thin so they can be used as a laminate - all vertical and most horizontal surfaces. Many architects and interior designers use That Metal Company and have won awards for their design work. Definitely worth a look. Cheers, Penelope...See MoreS McLaughlin
