Which Bath Tub!
Comments (7)What do you see when you're in the bath? Do you have a great view in one direction a vista, or none at all? Personally I'd orientate a single slipper bath toward the view, and if possible have the plumbing at the side (if the bath is sitting in the open) so as not to interfere with the views. If the bath is against a wall I'd have the plumbing at the lower end so I wouldn't have to lean over it to turn the taps on....See Moreshower/bath options if shower drain is the only one in the bathroom?
Comments (3)Hi. If you have an existing drain via your shower, this can be converted to take care of a bath shower combination, even if you also need it to be a wet floor drain. A bath waste is normally a 40mm pipe, so if your existing pipe is a 32, you might need to do some conversion...See MoreLooking at t he pros and cons of stone freestanding bath tubs
Comments (13)Hi Annie We get asked about the weight of freestanding baths all the time as people assume they will simply be too heavy to move around for cleaning purposes, which may be the case with a solid stone bath. To make cleaning manageable, our baths and spas are manufactured using Gelcoat composite construction which is extremely strong yet not overly heavy (5mm thickness to ensure structural rigidity and increased thermal properties). This allows most people to easily slide the bath out from the wall for easy cleaning access. I hope that helps with your dilemma! Comments (12)Hi, unless you take a bath at least once a week I'd skip the tub. I'd rather enjoy a bigger walk in shower, which is also a lot safer than climbing into a tub to shower. If you have the space instead of a tub and shower I'd consider a double vanity to give you extra storage space. It's a little luxury you will come to enjoy when everyone is getting ready on the morning....See MoreJo Ann Radford
