Beautiful airy space! I'm curious about the shelving dimensions (depth) and how the unit was "planned" (designed to hold specific pieces? simply sketched out on the wall?) LOVE!
Hi, That shelf is extraordinary due to it's simplicity and the seeming randomness of the design. I'm the photographer that took the picture rather than the designer so can only send you to OB Architecture for answers, I've seeen another similar shelf in another OB Architecture project elsewhere and they really do work.
Hello, Pleased you like it. It's about 2.8m high by 5.5m long, and the depth varies from 400-600mm. The design was carefully modelled in 3d and drawn out in CAD for the joiner. Happy to provide you with a design, if you would like one commissioned.
