Comments (5)Silver grey is a great colour to have as a base. I like the Josette cushion in the duck egg colour, it's a gentle contrast to the grey. I would team the cushions with pale plain duck egg coloured curtains to make a simple, elegant room....See MoreOld paint problem...
Comments (8)Thanks dohraime. There is no damage to the paint but we squared up two arches and so the paint was removed from around those doorways. I don't think it will necessarily peel away on its own - I hope! I sort of want to try to leave it as long as I can but we have a window of opportunity to paint just after all the current renos and just before we properly move in...but we are desperate to move in and this will just drag it all out further!! And will I be able to stop myself from just peeling it all off one night when the tv is boring!? Trek - we have only had the house for just two months and are really keen to move in and NEVER SELL OR MOVE!! So I figure if the painting is really bad we can do it again at some point (surely we wouldn't do that bad a job...?)!...See MoreProblem with newly plastered/painted walls. . .
Comments (1)contact the builder immediately in writing and by phone... a new home should be covered by a builders' guarantee and they should be responsible to fix the problem...so disappointing for you, best of luck with it...See Moredress up a problem kitchen wall
Comments (10)I’m struggling to understand why the pantry was installed there. Was there no room to have a shallow wall pantry with hinged doors? Anyway, the suggestions you have made I think are a good compromise. Putting a false panel above the door, attached to wall not door, and the shelving. But if you have room for shelving I would think you would have had room for a shallow wall pantry?...See MoreLeigh Hodge
