Comments (7)Hi if you are remodelling yourselves it helps to think of the blocks of colour in large scale as well as the natural and artificial lighting - things will change accordingly. I found some images here on Houzz for both of those samples. In the end, each tone will give you a different feel. Factoring in the design of the kitchen itself.This first kitchen uses 'Bianco Drift' in a traditional style . Whereas this kitchen has 'Frosty Carrina' caesarstone. We have 'Almond Rocca' caesarstone in our bathrooms which is quite yellow - warm. And we have 'Nougat' in our kitchen which is fresh and clean and white. Comments (3)Looks great. However, 2 of our friends have just moved into houses with dark boards. They look awesome but one has a dog and says she could easily mop twice a day. Because you can see every single little dust speck and dog hair. Comments (19)I am clearly in the minority, but its a no for me- the gorgeous brick walls, doorway, character all lost - I think that a lighter touch would have given a much more tasteful, interesting and less generic result and allowed some of the house’s heritage to peek through a modern update. if the owners are happy though, that is what matters, their house, not mine...See Moreseek advice on splashback and flooring in renovated small kitchen
Comments (3)Hi. There is not a lot of light in the kitchen. To clarify, top cupboards are lava, bench tops are silestone desert silver. The living area floor is bare concrete and will be covered same as kitchen. Wood or tile.
