here is one that might work I dont think all timbers need to match exactly and that some contrast can actually help (*not just colours that are close)

The lower brickwork stands out too much. If you painted the balcony in a darker colour, either picking up the lower brown or a darker green version evident on the fascia boards, this would help to unite the colours better. And the garden needs to be considered. If you retained the steps, removed the garden beds and then just had trees in the lawn, this simple concept would then add considerable value to your home. Don't render the bottom area - instead work with it. And keep all changes simple to offset the pattern in the lower brick.

Your new house looks wonderful. Perfect canvas to adapt to hamptons style. I think the bench top would be fine to use with painted doors, new handles. I would live with the floor for a while, and see how your other changes go. The floor might blend in.. Definitely can put fly screens on bifold doors. Search google for retractable fly screens. Hi Jise, Megan from Bluethumb online art gallery here. I agree with me me that if you paint all the walls white you can achieve the Hamptons look without spending too much on the floor. However, timber floors would look lovely. I would also suggest turning the kitchen cabinets white and considering a warm toned bench top (perhaps a warm timber or creamy stone). Adding Hamptons style furniture will really get the look going, and you have a great chance to complete the look with a feature artwork on that wall in the living room.
