Entrance, staircase and hallway - which walls to decorate?
Comments (3)@Lighting55.com - thank you. When installing wallpaper, do you recommend going all the way to the top, or just the ground floor? Because some walls continue upstairs (i.e. are very very tall). Also, we don't really have a lot of walls in the entrance, would wallpaper look odd? http://st.houzz.com/fimgs/0e8232e602b540bf_0307-w600-h376-b1-p0--home-design.jpg...See MoreEntrance & staircase- which walls to decorate and which to leave bare?

Comments (6)The room itself is galley style with the Outside door at one end and and the Internal door at the other end. Both doors open inwards to the room. The internal door is hung on the left and the external door on the right (vice versa if I'm looking from the opposite direction). Anyway, I have found the answer to my question, which is - that it doesn't matter. I appreciate everyone's comments. Cheers...See MorePainting staircase-which parts to stay/go?
Comments (5)My only advice, pay a trade to paint it! I rather like the pic from Brandi, but I was tasked with stripping years of paint off a genuine Georgian staircase..never again!...See Morehaephestus
