Thanks for the clarification, in all likelihood it will be easiest to keep to the existing conditions - unless where the pipes come out can easily be bricked up with spares you might have, or similar... It becomes a little more complicated. There are plenty of modern joinery pieces you can install to accomodate this, and minimise costs. You can still make the bench more narrow to the side near the wc of space becomes an issue - this will just become a custom piece instead of one you buy off the shelf at space furniture, masters, etc. not to say that relocating the pipes is not feasible - have your quotes done first so you can compare apples to apples.

It might be worth while to consider the rest of the space also. Your breakfast bar/kitchen is located quiet closely to your dining table so depending on your kitchen space (apologies, I can't see too much of your kitchen from the photo) you might want to think about the overall style you want to achieve for you entire open plan space, and select pendants that would work for both your kitchen and dining. This is a project I worked on recently that shows how two different types of pendants can work harmoniously in the one space that is most similar to your kitchen and dining set up. I would change the island and side bench tops to white. The side bench in black will be absorbing a lot of light from that window. If you keep black at back go black tap, otherwise if ditching all black benchtop did ditch the black tap idea and handles
