Us as manufacturing, we do NOT recommend in any area that would get wet. Remember, it's solid wood which is a live material, it expands and contracts with heat and cold. Also, over time if you wet the wood too much it might damage, it could damage the glue in the back and the wood itself, just like it would if you wet your cabinets. That been said, we do have people that install in bathroom areas and are vey happy about it. We have posted a few projects on our Instagram page like this one attached. It looks beautiful, but it's the interior designer decision and own risk to do so.
