Love the lighting and pristine white color palette that sets off the cars and cabinets so nicely. Why not go all the way and find an inexpensive Oriental-look carpet to lay under your favorite ride? (assuming it doesn't leak oil. If it does, remember, it was a cheap Oriental-look carpet!) How about some leather stools or chairs in there too?

We would recommend two choices - matching your wall colour with a tone of the slate and your roof or you could have the slate removed as well a plasterer to fix and repair the patches then you are not limited by colour selection to match in the slate. A possible use for the slate if you choose to leave it there would be a floating seat (painted black like your roof) just below the slate - use the slate as a seat back or continue the slate up and create an outdoor BBQ area with the slate as a splash back for the BBQ. You could also install a floating bench (but check the weight bearing possiblities of the wall). A great landscape designer &/or builder could help you with a concept plan - good luck! thank you for your advise. I have put images of the outside of the house as that where the dining room is from there we will be bringing the decking out 3 metres which will create an out - indoor eating. this is the most finished room giving you an idea of the colour and house. all blue grey tones. sorry about stuff around but a reno house is hard to find spaces below is kitchen as is looking out to the dining through that open servery but we are taking most of that wall out to make an open space - its very small step down below into the dining through the left door way. below is the now dining. the table is very small and hard to pull chairs in and out of hence the indoor out door considerations. belwo is the outdoor looking in. from those doors we are putting a 3 metre decking i think. we have a lot of yard so its easy to do
