Sorry to dampen your ideas about changing your home but I think it is a beautiful home, in no need of any changes at all, in my opinion! It is a picture perfect home with a lovely low maintenence garden and beautifully presented. I would not have bought the home personally, if I wanted to make the amount of external changes as you are thinking of, perhaps instead, use this home as a stepping stone and buy something already more like what you are dreaming of owning or accept the beautiful home you already have, again in my opinion of course!!

Definitely paint. And an extra tip: We moved into a house with so many boldly coloured walls (turquoise, salmon, yellow, dark blue...!) and ended up finding the Haymes paint was amazing at covering all the colours. In the bathroom we used 2 other brands (Duluxand Taubmans) and they needed manymore coats, I'll only use Haymes now I've tried it. Only needed 2 coats over all the colours, it's not at Bunnings but worth seeking out. We got ours from Paint Spot and the staff were so helpful.

Hey Dounia The colour and the way it has been painted is very much what we saw in the late 90's and early 2000's when we all went through the textured paint feature wall craze. But, saying that Paint and design technology have come a long way since then and I would encourage you not to give up on the copper idea and use a modern approach and product. Dulux have recently added their new range of Design Effects, Here's the copper and concrete look. There's also other options available at www.dulux.com.au. This is a very personal choice as dreamer mentioned. You can order tile samples from tile cloud or TileMall for $15 for 5. Pick some options you like and put up in the kitchen next to the other elements. You will soon know which one you love the most 👍🏻
