Timber ceiling - which white wall colour ?

I'm having a really hard time working out which 'white' will work best for my small living dining area (and planning to be open kitchen area) with a timber panel ceiling. I have always liked a crisper cool white (i.e Lexicon Quarter) however am worried because the area is small, a warmer cool colour would work better? I would also like to use the same white on walls through out the house (bedrooms have normal white ceiling) and I would like a different/whiter ceiling white.

Its an older house, so the paint is just a refresh, with further reno to take place over the years...

Colours I have considered are:

- Lexicon Quarter

- Lexicon Half

- White on White

- Snowy Mountain Quarter

- Natural White (is it worth considering the half / quarter options here?)

And I had always thought I would just go with Vivid White for the ceiling no matter what the wall colour, however have since been told when I was leaning towards Lexicon Quarter for the walls that vivid white on the ceiling wasn't great idea...

*big sigh*

What's the winning combo?? :) Advice appreciated.. Thanks!

Note* I've only been looking at Dulux as i figured I didn't need any more confusion straying to other brands.
