Kitchen decor ideas
Comments (19)Hi Bekkyboo7, if you like the idea of plants - depending on your taste you could go for something sculptural like a String of Peas or a ZZ Plant or if you're a keen cook go for herbs - there's even hydroponic kits that are designed for kitchen benches such as Aerogrow hydroponic systems or try something in a macramé hanger (just watch the weight - growing medium can be heavy when wet)....See MoreEntryway decorating ideas
Comments (20)Definitely the basket is unnecessary and without it makes cleaning easier too. If I really want to be picky, I prefer just the three pieces on one side, just swap the plants for the brighter colour. I like things a bit off balance. I hate to do this to you, but memo for the future - always get non reflective glass in frames, makes a big difference. Now have some fun with some Christmas decorations to give it a whole new look:)) You will find this is an area to have a lot of fun with and to make regular changes to....See MoreNeed new lounge and decor ideas!
Comments (12)OK, I have lots of ideas with that brief; Starting with the floor, I think a big cosy knitted/plaited style rug like this one would set the tone. From there I think a round coffee table (maybe in a dark timber not unlike your kitchen to keep the colour story working between the spaces) to help with the movement of people within the space and finally I would repeat a modular sofa to maintain the number of seats you require. I'd consider the sofa in a donkey brown (grey/brown). I would replace the side table with a round side table that is in a new material (metal or ceramic) but same sort of colours to layer up the textures. Cushions on the sofa should then be various textures but continuing the same colours. The entertainment unit I would then select something that is textural like this. I would have a big piece of timber artwork or installation over the sofa something like these . Have fun with the space. Sophie...See MoreLong living area
Comments (10)It’s a sliding door to go outside, so the lounge can go in the front of the wall and sliding door fixed panel. Bring it away from the wall. Or two accent chairs with a coffee table. What is around the corner that doesn’t show in photos. If there is nothing that the lounge is facing, then turn the lounge around so it faces the dining area....See MoreCormar Carpets
