The door on the right has replaced a garage door which is why it has that strange surround instead of stone. This door goes into the spare bedroom and so I need to replace this with something that will look better.
I've considered putting in a window but will then have to come up with a different surround that will go with the stone. The space is around 2.4 long and 2.3 high so maybe I could put in a sliding door? There are a couple of standard sizes that would work:
1.8 long x 2.1 high - with this one I will have a small surround before the brick
2.4 long x 1.8 high - with this one I will just have a small space at the top to fill in.
Only thing is, the house is quite small with only two bedrooms and a study and including this door, it currently has 4 doors to the outside of the house. Can a house have too many doors?
Thanks
