I put metal siding on a house last year and the metal cost less than the vinyl would have. I wouldn't have thought that possible. The fabricator was local so no doubt that helped. It would be worthwhile to check into what's available to you locally. It will take time to research but it may pay off well.

The front of the house face south. The colour that appeal to me is from light grey/greige to white. I am not into dark colours. My issue is that my fascia is surfmist colorbond in colour and i have white windows. In an ideal situation, I would have loved for my fascia to be white too. Can I throw a spanner in the works here , and suggest 1 stone , but make it dark ? A charcoal , a schist , even something 'mottled' using mainly charcoal and grey and brown tones - your joinery looks to be dark , the rest is presumably rendered in some off-white variation -- anything in a gold toned stone is already dated IMO , and that square look yellowy gold stone ( your first choice ) may as well be pink or purple -- it will stand out , for the wrong reasons !
