Bathroom and ensuite layout dilemma
Comments (38)Hi Pummers, no architect worth that title would ever just provide a default plan. The architect's JOB is to discuss your needs and wants with you and work that into the design, often through a number of revisions until you are satisfied. If he/she doesn't do that, speak up about them not giving you proper architectural service. I know about the problem of space for towel rails in a small bathroom. What I have done in such situations is to fit 2 towel rails on the back of the bathroom door, one at 900 and one at 1800 height. That usually works very well....See More0.8m x 2.9m Ensuite Renovation
Comments (9)Yes its quite narrow. Length is ok. I've done one at 2.4 m long so yours longer. Grab space by mounting the shaving cabinet with mirror into the wall cavity. Lot of narrow vanity units available. You can along add a niche into the wall cavity in the shower for soaps, etc. Have also added full length niche's from shower through to toilet! I'd probably look at a 'floating vanity' to make it feel spacious. siriusky's picture is great inspiration....See MoreHow to fit in an en-suite?
Comments (8)Thank you all for your replies and sorry for my late (very) reply! No idea what $ I would be looking at for that though, might be price restrictive?...See MoreTiny en-suite layout needed
Comments (10)based on standard sized fixtures there should be enough space for a small corner shower and single vanity with a toilet squeezed into the space next to the shower (which is narrower than ideal for comfortable elbow room) leaving space in the middle to stand and dry yourself or one person to walk behind another... there also needs to be allowance made for the space that will be used by new wall and floor linings so strongly recommend that you research fixtures and collect pamphlets with specifications and consult a plumber before you buy anything but i would prefer a bigger custom sized tiled walk in shower with glass panel and sacrifice a vanity cabinet for a wall hung sink with in wall mirrored wall cabinet and more toilet room for a more spacious feel...See MoreVal Thompson
