Loving your space and flooring. We recently bought a white unit 2400 long. I had planned to have a cabinet built in at a later stage taking up the whole wall but have now decided that I like the option of having space at the ends for decorative pieces eg: the plant and accent chair. Also there is plenty of storage with the existing unit. I went for white to blend in with the walls to make the floor is more of a feature and I could then add colour accents in the room without it all being too much.

Hi Porters make metallic paint - Slipper satin - I have used it & it gives beautiful lustre - very dramatic in a living room. Or do you mean a flat paint with a silver tone? Again Porters 'Angel Shoes' may appeal to you. 'Phantom' is also nice but may be too dark for what you imagine. I think green would look good near your sleek kitchen - Porters 'Wasabi' is a good green which has yellow undertones that would sit well with your orange soft furnishings. With lots of indoor plants it would be on trend. Have fun. Let us know what you decide.

Please post photos of cabinets and floor. Is this room adjoining a living area? If so post photos of "must stay" items.

Hmmmm can't seem to see any names on it, but will have a better look tomorrow when the lights better. i like the colours Vy, and have been thinking along the same lines... Don't think I'll get away with the pinks tho... I'm the lone female in a house full of Rugby playing males!
