We had an issue that our relatively new fridge freezer didn't fit the space, we had no choice but to buy another. I was able to give my beautiful new old fridge to my parents for a holiday home they share with us all. I was happy with that, even though when you move the budget is always tight, once it is done you just have to put it in the history file.

Hi Lucinda. Thee Quarter tile would not suit I dont think, its a bit old fashioned. I have had both full tile and painted wall in a couple of my previous houses and by far my preferred is full tile. It looks modern and provides a nice reflective surface to allow any natural light to bounce around the room. Tile options if you think the white maybe a bit much is to have a feature stone section. I really like blue stone tile which would really suit the timber as well, both being natural materials. You could place a feature strip between the shower and toilet or if it was me I would do one whole wall out of it, behind the timber look vanity. Hope this helps. Cheers

I would suggest hanging a large moroccan woven fabric or mat, just use a length of dowel along the top edge, and hang it up. It would add great texture and also a casual feel to the room. Dress up the couch with a bunch of patterned cushions and a bolster moroccan style. Refer to your fridge specs before you close anything in. Fair Trading laws in this country have obsoleted warranties. There is now a sliding scale of reasonable expectation on consumer items which means manufacturers will rely on their tech specs more than ever. Check what minimum clearance your fridge officially needs on the sides and above the machine for ventilation before doing anything. Get your lighting working for you. Choose a 'warm white' lamp - not daylight or cool white. Cool whites kill off the warmer hues and makes things appear cold. Change, add or move your lighting to have two small gimbled ceiling lights wash down the face of the joinery instead of one bright light focussed on the fridge. Lighting can make a poor space look great or a great space look poor.
