a bathroom is not considered a "habitable room" and can be as low as 2100mm and, as long as at least half the whole room is at least 2100mm, then half the room can be lower eg in a room with a sloping ceiling...So, if the whole bathroom is at least 2100mm high then a shower that is less than half the floor area of the whole room can be lower and for comfortable use a shower that has at least 1 sqm floor area over 2100mm should be quite OK in a room that is at least 2 sq m in size..clear as mud?? post a plan of your bathroom showing measurements of all walls and placement of shower for a more specific description for your space
i was paraphrasing from the Building Code of Australia so unless that person knows something else that will impact your shower it should be OK...we had a sloping ceiling in a bathroom that was only 2700 x 1200 with a lower wall 1200 (and only half the room over 2100mm) with the vanity and toilet installed against the 1200 wall and the shower was quite comfortable to use with the sloping ceiling
