Hey annemarie, thanks for the visual. Firstly, I think the pale olive trims complement the vanity unit in a way I don't think the black, grey or white could. The vanity doors and basin are subtly highlighted and it produces a very calming, aesthetically pleasing showpiece. The olive colour helps make the vanity doors and basin the standout features of this particular model - the reason you were attracted to it in the first place. Secondly, I think the colour palette works well with the Moroccan tiles you have chosen. The darker trim contained within each tile piece helps with the fusion. Do not interfere with the integrity of the vanity unit. It looks great as. Overall, you get a fantastic vanity unit - you have chosen well.

Hi iggs85. I have mid-sized handles on my own kitchen and also like the practicality of hanging tea-towels on them where the sink doors are. Imake sure I have two matching ones (either by colour, or type). There is such a huge variety of colours, patterns, and materials available in tea towels that they can actually add to the decor, rather than detract from it. If you are really worried about the look then go for a gook or rail on the inside of the door. Cheers, Michelle

Not a terrible idea at all. I placed two mirrors across each other in our small bathroom. The mirrors are not of the same width but are the same design and at the same height to maintain simplicity. One narrow mirror above the basin, same width as the basin and tall enough so that our tallest family member at 2m can see their face. The WC also sits next to the basin but I did not want to extend the mirror from the basin. The wall space above the WC allowed for decorative items, eg artwork; narrow display shelf to add interest and texture. Directly opposite the basin and WC is a wide cabinet, and a large mirror to cover that width of cabinet and at the same height as the basin mirror. This mirror also reflects the artwork above the WC. It reflects so much more light and creates a wonderful feeling of space.

we used the IKEA online planning tool to design our storage system at home using Billy and Besta componants and produced plan and 3d views of our ideas and a list of all the necessary componants. At the store we could take our list directly to the self service, select all 19 boxes, load them on two big trolleys, used the same list for easy payment at the checkouts and had everything packed in our ute within 45 mins including a coffee break. Assembly, including arranging and re-arranging to confirm our original design and screwing tall shelves to the wall took about two days..Deciding what is allowed to be placed in our new shelves is an ongoing process but we're happy with a result that we think would be a fraction of the cost of modest custom built cabinetry and is so much more flexible
