It looks like you may be doing a new kitchen as well. Had you considered moving the bathroom and laundry, perhaps combining into a single room, more into the centre of the house, to take up part of the living room, then opening up the back of the house, with a brighter and lighter living room? The current position of the laundry and bathroom prohibit some great alternatives to improve the light and flow of a new living space. The current living room doesn't look like it gets much light, and the diagonal traffic flow across the room will make it hard to furnish.

what's the current arrangement of the kitchen, are you planning any kitchen renovations and the measurements are inconsistent...please confirm the size of all the walls inside the bathroom and inside the toilet and the thickness of the wall between

I really like the idea of a combined bathroom/laundry, especially with a family group.

The space can be opened out - all you need for a laundry is a washer & drier

Hide them behind folding doors and all the rest of the space can be bathroom!

Keeping the toilet separate as in Ok's drawing is the best option and re swinging the door from the kitchen into the bathroom to avoid looking into the toilet when doors are open from the kitchen. I feel that the bath and vanity could also be better swapped for this reason.

The laundry is very small so keeping that as just laundry for holding dirty washing and adding a linen cupboard would be my choice. This door canthen be kept closed until you need to do laundry, using it as a pantry would mean the door would constantly be open.

"Butlers Pantries", these were built in houses that had Butlers or employed someone to clean up/for them, totally a fad these days and a waste of good kitchen space.

With the kitchen being small and access to the rest of the house is via it, along with immediate access to both Bathroom and laundry which is not ideal, careful planning in all three areas is vital.

Having seen the kitchen in a previous post, I would be keeping the small pantry cupboard facing into the kitchen for any appliances etc 890 x 350 is perfect, you could have drawers to the lower section for food containers and a bench for storing appliances that can be easily lifted out into the kitchen for use, shelves above this with BiFold doors to close off this to section. cheers
