Sink dilemma- black or white (undermount) black bench top
Comments (9)I would go matt stainless steel, it will match any other silver or chrome in the kitchen (cupboard handles;tap; toaster etc). I've been looking at double bowl stainless undermount sinks and thought the Blanco essential U2 model was pretty nice (and about 788mm). good luck!...See MoreHelp with Australian 70's orange brick home
Comments (2)Could you add an exterior picture of the front door? Is the roof tile terracotta with some charcoal colour throughout? I've seen house with similar brick and roof colour (I think) and they've done new gutters and fascia in colorbond monument. Looks great. The colour is already there on the window sills and fence capping tile....See MoreOrange brick curb appeal
Comments (10)Hi Scooby, there's a house near by that has the same timber as you which has been painted a mid grey, I will try to get a photo , it made a big difference. Our house also had "undercoat"pink front doors with coloured glass we replaced them with double plain doors for privacy and added two large architectural handles, one on both sides of the same door. Getting back to your roof, houses on both sides of us had their roofs done at different times by different people. One was a total botch up and had to be re done., the other was done correctly which included re doing all of the ridge capping etc and is a really good job. Then a very successful builder bought a house across from us, he gutted it and re did everything including rendering the walls white, and has had the existing tiled roof sprayed black, he now lives there. Looks amazing. We need celerygirl to do some photo shopping with your house cheers...See MoreBlack exterior, new rural build- pros and cons?

That is sort of the aim -- to blend in -- but I think is too much . I'd probably do a red oxide roof or similar -- a matt mid red , so it isn't all the one colour , but that shade of red is pretty unobtrusive , and is common in nature too ....See More2019privacy
