Plus they have become friends they love our babies, the babies love them & get excited to see them. When finished they get treats and pressies at Xmas too. i keep most magazines only long enough to cut out the best pictures, articles and ideas to stick in separate paper folders for building,renovating and decorating, gardening, cooking and sewing and a few pictures for framing. The collections are regularly culled as selections are used to illustrate plans or ideas are tested and discarded and, although some of my favourites date from the early 1970's the information fits into four folders kept in a bookshelf with a handful of vintage building magazines

Reading this thread, the picture I got (maybe from another discussion because I'm sure I've seen this talked about before?) was a dividing line somewhere between a few extra pillows which enhance the bed aesthetically, are potentially useful for sitting up to read a book, and are easily stored elsewhere when not required and too many extra pillows which make the bed look less like a bed and more like a pillow factory, are potentially useful for an attempt at a world record pillow fight, and keep you up all night moving them when you need access to the bed.
