The seat can be supplied with longer legs to suit a cast into concrete footing, allowing the stone to be placed up to the legs. We can work with you on required leg length.
While the image is of a Kwila (Merbau) timber, we now offer it in a kiln dried "eco" hardwood eliminating the risk of tannin bleed onto your ground surface. The hardwood we use is commonly seen in window and door joinery so is quite stable in climate changes. It is also oil finished, allowing the timber to breathe and naturally adjust to different climates, and offers easier maintenance compared to a sealant. While the timber will eventually grey off, DIY oiling every 3-6 months will preserve the appearance. The hardwood is naturally more yellow in colour, but stains can be added.
