Comments (12)As it can sometimes rain during December and January, having a couple of fun (and time-consuming) kiddy activities pre-planned for indoors can help the day be a success. How about setting up a 'soft' obstacle course that takes over the whole house? The setting up and packing up could possibly be the best part of the fun (and presumably take the most time!)...See MoreIdeas needed for hanging space & use of larger bedroom.
Comments (11)Not entirely sure what's going on here - it seems to be a big room with lots of space for more furniture - so, if you need more storage in the bedroom, get a bigger/wider dresser for the area in pic 1, move the TV out or hang it on the wall, put another dresser (no mirror) in the area where the chairs are in pic 2, and set up your robe in pic 3 so about half of it has two sets of rods, one about halfway down the wall, to hang shirts/blouses etc. Double the storage in that amount of space....See MoreKitchen Design
Comments (13)Hi there Lucy, so sorry that my beautifully drawn plan didn't post, will attach it this. I worked with the measurements on your drawing and agree that the opening to the kitchen should be as Wide as possible, even being able to close off with a sliding door, do you like barn doors, I know you have a sofa issue but it could slide behind and add character. The end wall could be made attractive when you look into the kitchen with some art or a large round narrow clock. The fridge is built in (not sure what size you have) so that you see a deep cabinet panel when looking into the kitchen, the sink cabinet is 800 others would be good at 600 with drawers, the appliance pantry approx 1000 allowing for opening doors and sliding the drawers. I have added a wall oven, not sure if you want that as with your kitchen space being tight it could be better under bench, I haven't included above bench cabinets either side of the sink but you could consider open shelves (NO corner shelves please I strongly dislike them and they date the kitchen), or your Microwave could sit in the RH corner next to the sink. At this stage my drawing is for ideas only, things can be moved around to suit, things can be drawn to plan when you actually decide what you like,x...See MoreHow can I make the best use of space in my walk in pantry?
Comments (6)You could get a carpenter/wardrobe cabinet maker to look at it for you, that door takes up too much of a small space. The other thing I would consider is adding extra shelves as by looking at your photo there's a lot of wasted space between existing shelves cheers...See MoreItsmehazel
