Love this pool coping!

Is this a custom coping on the pool? I've never seen any coping with this large overhang into the pool. It's very elegant and sleek looking. If it's something I can order, is it available in 2" thick pieces perhaps? And the color is fabulous too, what's the color? Thanks for your help. --K

hi, the pool coping is bluestone with a 150mm dropface. it was custom order and around 30mm thick.

Composite decking gets very very hot in the summer sun, so I would definitely steer away from that- I know it looks good, but there are a number of beautiful Aussie hardwoods and gums that would look amazing and could 'float' over top of the coping with that modern serviceable decking look. Some well thought out tiling could also look good- but the heat will still be a big consideration. Remember metals in natural stones and plastics heat up in radiant sun, whereas timber tends to just warm slightly and not get 'burny' hot.

Agree, i had a light sandstone and loved it current pool is more terracotta tiles and copers and is a bit hot in the sun to be honest
