What colour extension table are you interested in what type of style Just noticed your couches are are dark brown and the dark floor closes up your space A bit hard to suggest chairs as I can't see what theme or style your house is to match what theme are you looking to achieve I would prob by a white gloss table and have either off chairs or light grey fabric chairs and buy a light grey couch Not sure of your budget but The brown couch you already have makes your place feel small and clashes with your floorboards My suggestion would be to get a new couch and dining table to match would make that space feel revived and fresh it's hard to match a table to that space with that brown couch

I think it depends on the size of your household and how many people sit down to dine. Do you have family and friends for dinner? The current round table looks like it can seat 4 people comfortably, but six people may be a bit cosy. If you need a table for more than four people then I would go rectangular. You could always compromise with an oval table? An oval table doesn't need to align with anything, so it can be angled to make the most of the space without looking crooked. Hi Lisa Kate You could go for a contrast to the timber chairs and floor with a white table- something like a Tulip table is a design classic. Just be aware of the seat height of the chairs you bought and any potential table height. Also the wishbone chairs cant be pulled all the way in because of the curved back so you will need more space around the setting. Best wishes

Thank you! I hadn't heard of Gainsville before - they have something that looks quite similar with the interesting angles. Only challenge is I live in Qld and they are in Vic.
