Comments (5)Go with your plan to feature colour Wall A and mount mirror on Wall A and place beachy art work on Wall B. My suggestion is to maybe consider using a paint colour for the featured wall that is tonally similar to paint on Wall B and not too dark so as to give room depth but not close it in with a dark heavy contrasting shade. Offsetting the hanging of the mirror closer (to the plant) could also add interest (and work with the shorter end of the sofa). Often going with you intuition is the best advice!!!...See MoreHI, I need ideas for how to do my Rumpas/Living Room

Comments (11)Depending on your budget and how much structural work you want to have done, you could keep most of it the same. But you would loose your meals room. extend your laundry to the door of the meals room, turn your laundry side ways this will give you access to the out side, on the other side of the laundry extend your wall pass the internal door of the meals room to create a walk in pantry, extend kitchen gallery to laundry and pantry, open up internal walls of kitchen to living room and dinning room creating a beautiful Island bench looking into living room. open up external dining room wall for sliding doors to bring the inside out. because there is a walk in pantry there would be no need for upper counters so u could also have a bar at the kitchen window on the outside. Doing it this way you would save a lot of money not having to move plumbing and electrical in the kitchen. You would have to walk through your kitchen to get to laundry though....See MoreHow should I arrange my kitchen/living/dining space?
Comments (13)you need a large rug underneath your living room furniture to sit ot all on there - not half on / half on. to connect the dining to the kitchen i wouid add a pendant over the kitchen bench with a smaller matching one over the dining table - that will connect the spaces. Definitely a console or buffet with a mirror above it on the wall with whee your dining table is situated. the mirror will reflect the mood lighting of the pendant back into the mirror. Use another rug in a coordinating color - not the same ( as your living) to them tie all the spaces together....See MoreSimone Hatherly
