With the style of the house, I would leave the door as it is or paint it white. If you'd love a pop of colour, maybe you can put a couple of white chairs with bright-coloured cushions. Or if you still want to paint the door, I would go with aqua or bright red as melf99 had suggested.

I say go for it as your door is the window to your home. My advice would be to consider the colour of the flecks in your brick to make sure your chosen colour works with it and not to forget about the colour of your roof and window frames. For example I would have loved a red door but it would have looked ghastly with the green roof on my 25 year-old house. Instead I did black with dark grey window frames (which truly just look black) which works to pick up the black in the brick. I added my big pot plants with green foliage and still got a touch of red in the form of an old chair I picked up from an op shop years ago. The entrance is welcoming, attractive and reflects what is waiting inside. Have fun and if your chosen colour isn't quite right do what I did and find a way of incorporating it into the scheme somehow.

haha believe it or not, my garage door is still covered up in alucobond cover, so i haven't actually seen the colour yet and i don't want to peel it off just yet incase it gets damaged...Will wait til all the tradies have finished. Dear Creatively Challenged , I can recommend Dulux Colour Consultants, I gave up after about 5 sample pots . At the time it cost me $150 and if I used dulux paints I could claim a full refund . That was 12 years ago . I didn’t realise at the time just how good they were , the colours are still in fashion but it’s ready for another paint job for sure. It was such a relief to have someone in who is trained and fully understands colours and fashion and what goes with what . I finally stopped stressing about it and got the job done ✅
