Stillo haven't moved in yet....but we went with Dulux Natural White after all that...and boy am i glad i did :) It's such a nice white colour. I have a feature wall that has my TV and fireplace on it and i did that in Dulux Malay Grey which is like a dark grey colour...but rest of the house is all white

Hi Jodie, colour selection is scary, I love blue and really wanted a light bright colour as our area unfortunately is south facing, and was very dark, with the opening up of the area and colour it is so much brighter and makes me smile every morning when I first go in there. Without seeing the existing woodwork ( doors and skirting ) , I'd actually be tempted to redo that in a nice warm midbrown with a reddish tinge . Hogs Bristle is a pretty 'meh' sandy colour , and I assume colours like that are made so that something else becomes the highlight -- whether it be the wood features , the furniture , the artwork , or any other feature . To add white or off-white just doubles down the bland factor -- depending on the era of your house , if I had to go with Bristle I'd probably go with an Antique Red , or Ironstone , or similar ( even a Charcoal shade ) to add some colour without scaring anyone .

Probably predicatably , I would say it needs some colour . I'd do at least some of the trim in charcoal ( monument or similar ) , and then match that with red or orange -- I'd redo the front door in that bright colour , to add some Wow . To me , a pink tone is when you want to fill some space when you have reds as your main colours -- that door isn't great IMO . Look at the photos , and the only two things that stand out to me , is the red chair ( in a good way ) and that roofing material used as a fence ( not quite as good haha -- I'd do that in a metallicy charcoal before the sun has set tonight if that was my place .
