There are some great options for paint you can try yourself or hire a painter who is trained in applying them: Dulux Full Cover Texture - this is perfect for a very small job that you want to do yourself. One 10lt tin only covers a couple of square meters. From experience, the easiest way to to apply it is with a dustpan & broom (seriously! ..people will laugh but it does work well, the paint is so thick & heavy it falls off the roller). Wattyl version of the above: Wattyl Solarguard Ready Render - comes in fine/medium/course Granosite - again, hire a pro to apply this, it's a very heavy finish that looks excellent when applied well. Thank you, you cant see the the trees I have in the photos due to winter but I have 12 trees already in my front yard. ( 7 silver birch, 1 mop top 2 weepings, 1 red maple and a another) I do love the hedging. I was thinking something like the below photo with the same path going to my front door but placing the same purple plants around the sides that I have in my 3rd photo . I would like to use edging do I place some along the 3rd photo. I love the above photo with the trees and hedge layering, I could do that along the front fence. What do you think ? I don't really know plant names so I am saying sorry in advance

Thanks also Oskuee the orange jasmine is beautiful and we have this running along our fence line in our back yard ! We have more of a tropical feel ( as much as we can given the climate ) I have this hedge along a fence that is over looked through my splash back glass window so I can see the gorgeous white flowers . I think for the front yard it wouldn’t be tall enough ? Although I’d need to check that as I’m no expert

I would not paint that wall. Instead I would install a rectangle huge colourful painting. This will bring interest and texture to the whole room. If you are thinking of going grey, then would it be a feature? Would anyone notice? Your home is quite subdued in the colouring....maybe some colour may pop on that wall instead of more subtle tones.
