I have found myself in a position to buy my first apartment, I don't have a huge budget and I will need it to be liveable until I can get some money together to renovate. (see photo for the kind of thing I'm looking at) What are the most important things to look at when buying a brick apartment?
What are the best layouts for the later renovation?
Why do a lot of the lower-level apartment bathrooms have new ceilings but the rest is original? is it water leakage from the apartments above and how serious is this can it be rectified or is it just too expensive?
Any other advice for what I should be looking out for would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
