I can tell that you are not writing from Boston! :>) Well, if you want white cabs, use your trim paint in a gloss. If you need to fill with molding from the top of the cabinet to the ceiling, it will match. I love blue and white in a kitchen.

Hi Bradleys54, as you are creating a 'contemporary' style home, I would keep your kitchen finishes nice and simple - white on white. Then bring in colour variation by selecting a paint colour in a gorgeous, sophisticated grey, for the surrounding walls/bulkhead. Taubmans Cloudburst or Taupe Grey are both great interior colours. Your white kitchen will look fresh and crisp inside this colour. Consider a mirrored or grey kick face to your kitchen to work in with this scheme and glass pendants with grey or black fittings. I'm assuming that window will become your Kitchen Splashback.. If you wanted to steer away from an 'all-white' kitchen, then you could select Caesarstone's sleek concrete for your kitchen island bench top only, which would work in beautifully with they grey interior paintwork. I think non gloss given that the bottom cabinets look as if they have some shine. Just looking at the photo again, do they have any damage? If so it might be a good idea to replace the doors on these at the same time - if that happens you can even more options on colour scheme.
