Which layout would you choose?
bathroom demensions 3.1m x 1.7m
shower nook is approx 1m x .85m
drawings are free hand sorry

the toilet inside the alcove makes the room feel more spacious but i doubt there's enough room for the double vanity as there needs to be at least 750 for the bath and 900 for the shower and that leaves less than 1500 for the vanity but what is the distance from the inside corner near the door to the edge of the alcove and is the 850 the width of the alcove or the depth and is this a renovation of an existing bathroom??

None of the above. Our bedroom window looks at our side fence, however, once we finish our extension, we will have a nice view of our back yard from our family room's wide bifold doors.

There is a Dulux colour called iron sand that depending on the light can throw both chocolate and liquorice green which would work with your brickwork - You could probably do the same with the guttering. You should be able to get a chip from a roofing specialist and try it against the bricks. You could also take your lead from the colour of the tiles on the windowsills. Drive around your neighbourhood and see what you like. good luck

I know my Dad would just appreciate the back shed with the corry rusted out, a radio blaring on the wooden bench and a ton of oil stains all over the floor. He can then sit in his ripped old recliner and read his paper in peace and quiet, after he has tinkered with the old bomb car he dragged home out of a paddock. So none of these would suit him!

Option 2. I like the idea of the toilet having its own little space. Also I don’t like the toilet so close to the bath.

I was planning 1500 for the double but yes may not fit. The existing shower alcove is 850 width and thats with surrounded by 3 ways and a screen, so I thought to fit the walk in shower I was willing to sacrifice a few cm because it would still feel and look very open.
Yes, this is a renovation of an existing bathroom (only bathroom).
That corner on left from door to alcove is about 500 (there is a cupboard there).
